Anniversary kit vote on club website

Just in case anyone is unaware, there is an opportunity to cast your vote for this!

Firstly, fair play to the club as a fan vote for new kits is something we asked for. However, few questions/ concerns should be raised.

1. How can they have a design selected then produced by December when it took over a year to deliver the home kit ?(which was late by months)
2. Could there not have been a better mock up representation of the options?
3. Where is this being advertised? The club has the email addresses of season ticket holders. Why is there never any mail drops to promote things like this. Do we not have someone at the club responsible for promoting the commercial department?
4 How are the votes being monitored and recorded? Is this a genuine vote as there is no need to register or log in.

Will be very interesting to see how this develops as it does seem like a genuine effort to engage with fans, even if it has been executed in typical Accies style.

Too little too late.

Sorry but the way the club seems to be run is a complete joke and completley amatuerish.

Our 150th anniversary should have been a big deal a chance to raise awareness of the club, sell some merchandise, re engage with the fans. Instead it has been a total damp squib, leaving many fans frustrated and lost opportunity to generate some funds for the club

You seem to be able to vote as many times as you like too which is very odd. If there's one design you like, just vote loads to see if you get it.

Decent idea, just looks poorly executed. Real shame. There seems to be at least some staff trying to improve things, you just have to wonder what support they are getting from the club.

No white shorts option, which we have worn for the majority of our existence. There doesn't appear to be anything on the kit that mentions our 150th year, just the colours gold. It all looks so cheap. We've had embroidered badges in the main in recent years and when we won the league the players wore a kit that had the league win commemorated on the top ( can't remember if the fans could buy this as we kept the same kit for the Premier debut season). Maybe these tops are too flimsy for any embroidering.

I went into the shop before the Falkirk game to take a look at the away top and some sizes had embroidered badges and others didn't. Honestly don't think I've ever seen that before.

I watched the Stuggart game on tv last night and really liked their strip!
Maybe something similar next season would be good, as an away or 3rd kit.
