Don't worry, we'll find a way to mess it up. It's the Accies way.
Incidentally, if the Queens Park match is an away game it will be played at Ochilview as Lesser Hampden isn't ready yet.

Aye, Gilbert, hopefully not another Auchinleck type result for us. Still, a long overdue visit to the Bridie shop in Forfar before the game at Station Park, failing which Ochilview on a sunny day, is something to look forward to.

Thought they would have had the home and away games all sorted just after the draw, but no!

Forfar away please. My favourite Scottish football ground. I also fancy a visit to Stranraer. Last time I was there was on league business. No manager yet so will we hit the track running or will it be treated as part of our pre season. Answers on a postcard to Accies Communications

Really surprised this format has lasted. The crowds are mostly dreadful. Last year we won the first two games and still didn't go through. Bring back the knockout format, where you know before the game you will either be through or out. I still haven't been to any of these group games and I doubt that will be changing.

They're a substitute for pre-season friendlies, SC , and with reduced admission. Last season was, i think, £10 & £5. Good to get some players blending-in with the inevitable new faces before the serious stuff starts in the league.

Just remember there are loads of "Vultures" on the A77 down to Stranraer and its a 60 mph at best. A good road home providing you miss the Artics just coming off a NI ferry at Cairnryan. Otherwise a long, slow drive.

I've no expectations in progressing far in this Cup, so any success would be a bonus.

It shouldn't be a substitute to pre-season friendlues, it's the second biggest national cup competition and we haven't been in a major semi since 1979/80. We don't need to give our managers any more excuses for using a cup game to experiment. I'd have sacked Taylor after Auchinleck for that disgusting selection.
